Actually, I'm attending medical school here. But I miss Christmas in the US with snow, my family and friends but also miss very much celebrating the Winter Solstice/Yule. Please I ask you help me to enjoy the season...make me a part of your celebration if only by proxy. Help!

Okay, when it gets dark, turn off all the lights and take an ice cold shower. Get out and rush to celebrate before you warm up. Kidding!! It is cold and wet and snowy in Boise Idaho. We will bundle up and light candles and I'll include you in our friendship toast. (This does mean I get to open your gift and eat it-I think it's going to be chocolate!)

The Caribbean still gets the solstice sun. You should just be glad you get more of it than us snowed in Pagans.

I'll count you in for mine. I just passed on a previously planned Solstice celebration because it was overorganized and overpriced. It's getting as bad as the Christian holiday.

O.K. on Dec 20th I will trudge around in the dark, snowy (or rainy) evening and light a fire. We will probably drink some of the fine local beers and sing some songs. When the actual DAY arrives, sadly, probably more of the same. We're not very orthodox around Oregon.

Well I'm not Pagan but happy Yule, I would say Christmas, but with you being pagan it may upset you, as they stole it from you.
