"St Michael the archangel, defend us in the day of battle
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil
May God rebuke him we humbly pray and do thou, oh prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, cast into Hell all evil spirits who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls...."

Composed by Pope Leo XIII, in a vision he had been shown the fearful battle to be waged between Satan and St. Michael, over the Church of the future. Now, as never before, the Church needs the intecession of St. Michael!

St. Michael is an Arc Angel. That is much bigger than an angel. I believe he is also God.

We don't all pray to him, though.

The Protestants do not pray to any saints. They have a belief that we are all saints.

To each their own belief, whatever works for them. There is a verse in the Bible that says "We are all saints."

Alot of the Protestants who won't pray to saints do not seem to know that, anyway. They can be often heard to say there is no such thing as a saint.

I'd say, yes there is. So to each their own.

St. Michael, the Archangel - Feast day - September 29th The name Michael signifies "Who is like to God?" and was the warcry of the good angels in the battle fought in heaven against satan and his followers. Holy Scripture describes St. Michael as "one of the chief princes," and leader of the forces of heaven in their triumph over the powers of hell. He has been especially honored and invoked as patron and protector by the Church from the time of the Apostles. Although he is always called "the Archangel," the Greek Fathers and many others place him over all the angels - as Prince of the Seraphim. St. Michael is the patron of grocers, mariners, paratroopers, police and sickness

Michael the Archangel is also known as Adam, the First Man. We do not pray to him, nor is he a saint. Christ would be the only one authorized to proclaim anybody a saint and to my knowledge, he NEVER did - not even his mother. "Saints" are the inventions of a religion that has twisted Christ's original church and doctrine so much that there is no longer any similarity between the two.

We are told in scripture not to pray to anyone but our Father in Heaven. We are commanded not to pray to angels and to not let others look down on us for refusing to pray to angels. In the OT, those who knelt to angels were sharply reprimanded by the angels to get up and not to kneel. We are also charged in scripture to not give reverance to teh "Queen of Heaven." Notice this was all the way back in the OT and was charged in a dialogue about refraining from engaging in pagan practices. Carefull on this one! Do not pray to dead people. They are only people. The New Testament tells us that the saints are all Believers in Christ, not dead people who are more favored by God than you are. Scripture says that God is no respecter of persons. And it also tells us not to call any man father but your Father in Heaven.

You are not supposed to pray to any man.....you should only pray to God. Jesus and the angels warned people not to bow down and pray to them. They said be careful...it is to God only you should render sacred service.
Jehovah in his first commandment warned us to have no other gods against his face..nor bow down to them..nor be induced to serve them.
He also told us flee from idols.
That idolitry was one of the works of the flesh...as bad as adultery in Gods eyes.
Do not pay to dead men. They cannot help you. They are in the ground awaiting a resurrection and judgement day.

I don't believe in praying to Saints. I can't find any place in the Bible where we are told to pray to Saints or to Jesus' mother Mary.

We don't. A dead man can't help you with anything. We are to always pray in the name of Jesus and Him only.
