I don't know about prettiest woman, but she is an actress in India, and is the sister of Kareena Kapoor--who is also an actress. Karishma hasn't had any films this year, but her sister has had 36 Chinatown, Chup Chup ke, and others.
Karishma made her debut in the 1991 movie Prem Qaidi and has since then acted in more than sixty-five movies.
She had her first hit with the film Anari (1993) and followed up with an appearance in a cult-favorite comedy, Andaz apna apna (1994).
On 29 September 2003, she married industrialist Sanjay Kapoor, CEO of Sixt India, according to hindu marriage rites [1]. The couple has one daughter named Samaira, who was born on 11 March 2005. They have had some widely publicized marital problems, but have since reconciled.
Prior to her marriage to Sanjay Kapoor, she was engaged to Abhishek Bachchan, the scion of the Bachchan family. They met on the sets of Refugee in 1999 when Karisma was helping out her younger sister, Kareena with her debut film.
