What is the Portuguese word that means"the sadness we feel when thinking of a happy memory?

This was on a CSI Miami episode and I think it has more depth than "nostalgia" or "bittersweet". I just can't remember the word.

Its saudade or saudades. When I was learning English our teacher said this is one of the few words in Portuguese that can't be translated into English. The closest word for saudades is "miss" but miss isn't so deep.

The word you are looking for is Fado. It also represents a typical Portuguese music style, with Amalia (already deceased) being its top singer. Nowadays the main Fado singer is called Marisa. I am Portuguese...
