There are rooms which are teensy tiny with shared facilities (including bathrooms) from $150... These rooms are called 'goshiwon' (고시원)
I lived in one which was 230 a month, and that included everything, I had a TV, fridge, bed and desk... but it seriously was tiny.
Now im living in a top floor studio type thing for $333 a month... but if you get rooms like this, expect to pay a bond of around $5,000. The goshiwon or office tel are better options, and often furnished.
