I was 15 when I had to do the same thing that you r going through. It gets harder and harder to watch their pain and knowing that they are worried about how this is effecting u. The key is to cry, scream, swear ( but just not infront of your mum) and then continue on until u need to do all that again. I was lucky in the respect that my mum survived (only just) but 16 yrs l8r she is fine. The only thing i can suggest in regards to caring for her is this...dont fuss so much that u make her feel uncomfortable. Keep in contact with her Dr and try and find a support group within your friends. It will be a long nasty journey that will take everything out of u. Try and find some community group that would be able to help u. Even if its just giving u a couple of hrs off a week or maybe a couple of evening meals. Not much else i can say except my heartfelt best wishes go to you and your mum. Take care xx

It will be hard. You may try contacting Hospice, they may be able to help or give some advice, may refer you to someone. I really not know. My mother had a hip replaced and knee stuff. But, the Hospital or someone sent a lady to help her shower/take a bath. She also, made her bed, I said I could do that, but, she say she would.

What hurts them most is your worries and sorrows. So do not show it in front of her. Keep her occupied and give her something to think about other than how bad you must be feeling.
