I have terribly frizzy hair as well. Only way I could tame it was to shower and then brush it and put it in a pony tail as I slept that helped most days. Some days a little bit of john frieda hair product (some texturing balm...) worked, but only sometimes. And sometimes those defrizzing shampoos worked.

I just got my hair chopped off much shorter (now to my chin) and I don't have to worry about it at all. It is a VERY nice feeling. I love not worrying about frizzy hair.

It's hard to say exactly what your needs are, since I can't see your hair, but I'll give it a try.

If your hair is frizzy because of breakage (Is it long, fine, or over-processed?) you may very well need a haircut. Sometimes getting rid of some bad split ends and adding some layers can help. You may also need a smoothing serum or shine pomade to help smooth down fly-away broken pieces.

If your hair is frizzy because it's curly, you may need to find the right styling product. I recommend Paul Mitchel Straight Works, and the Super Skinny shampoo and conditioner. Also, find a stylist that can work well with your curly hair; if curly hair isn't cut and layered correctly it can give it a more puffy, frizzy appearance. You could also consider getting a relaxer or hair smoothing chemical service. Do not attempt to do this at home, however, because relaxers can be very damaging if not done correctly.

Frizzy hair sometimes caused by excessive dryness. Many over-the-counter shampoos are not very good for your hair (ie: you get what you pay for) and can dry it out, leaving you with a dull, frizzy mess! Buy your hair products from a salon, and ask the stylist what she recommends.

I hope these suggestions help. Good luck!

One advice I heard on tv right after the show Fashion House they always gave a style tip. They say alot of stars do it all the time to keep their hair silky soft. I think is the best tip they gave because it goes especially to me. The best of all it is homemade not a store bought (bull**** product). It is 1/2 cup of warm olive oil and 4 tablespoons of lemon juice for 15 minutes before you shampoo your hair.

Here's another advice I saw on the internet. Warm 2 tsp. of olive oil and 2 tsp. coconut oil and gently massage every part of the scalp for 10-15 minutes. Rinse a towel in hot water, wipe and wind the hair around the head as it cools. Repeat 2 or 3 times to issue total saturation. After that, shampoo and rinse well. It is good for brittle dry hair.

*Try to stay away from the gel that is what really damages the hair. I recommend using those products made to apply right before straighting your hair and then straighten your hair with a ceramic straightener.*

Hope it works out for you. I understand where you are coming from because I have the same hair. So, please email me @ Sweet_lucious418@yahoo.com and tell me how it worked out for you. Thank You.

Try products from John Frieda. You can buy it anywhere.. like Walmart or Target. The Serum works well, and try the dream curls spritz. Makes ur frizz into waves and curles. Also after u wash ur hair apply serum and blow dry with a defuzer while brushing ur hair. This can also make it more straight.

When you're in the shower, brush your hairs, so that it's tangle free when you come out. When your hair is damp, brush it a again and put on Pantene Volume(don't let the name deceive you) mousse. After your haird dries, it'll stay frizz free,

If you want to get rid of the frizz later on, just put some Sunsilk frizz free creme. (its the green bottle)
works great! Its like a gel/conditioner.

try those shampoo that improves the scalp, use the conditioner every two days, comb your hair thoroughly to improve the circulation when you wake up and before you sleep. You don't have to do it everyday if you are too busy but try to do the combing thing every three days. My hair still have some frizzs but it's still better than when I was much younger. Hope that helps

pantene anti frizz
or, after you have washed your hair, use mousse, and apply it from the end to the root... late don't ever touch it! because the mousse will fall and your hair will be frizz again!
