Chances are that you do have fleas in your room. You have to be really careful about this and make sure your cats are up to date on their flea drops, even if they are outdoor cats. My suggestion is to get them updated and while you are at the vet buy some anti-flea spray for your carpets. It is a little pricey but it will keep the fleas away for a long time and will stop flea eggs from hatching. It is better to get this problem fixed before they multiply, because they are like cockroaches!! They multiply quickly, and don't think just because winter is here that the fleas will die in the cold because fleas are very resistant to cold weather. Hope this helps and good luck with the flea situation. Oh, also you may want to take all your sheets and blankets off your bed and have them washed. And take the hose from the vacuum and vacuum your bed really good just to be safe. Also take any curtains down and wash them. And! Make sure to spray all the carpets in your house with the flea spray and make sure not to miss any areas of carpet that fleas can hide in. Good luck! =)

Don't panic!! I will take a fine comb and go over my cat to make sure they don't have fleas. They love the attention so it's not a huge problem for me to comb either of them. If you find you do have fleas then the best thing I've done is use bombs throughout the house. Take the cats for a little ride around town because it's deadly to pets. Prepare your home before you bomb...remove all food products, I usually take the mattress off the box springs so the mist will cover everything. Once you bomb then air out your home completely before bringing your pets back in. Better safe then sorry in regards to that. Then once bombed I will begin by washing all the bedding, curtains, pillows and anything I know the cats have been around. I will also get the flea products from the vet and put the drop behind their neck so that they can kills off those little buggers too. I've also sprayed my lawn because since I have indoor cats someone brought them into the house and it wasn't the cats. It's alot of work but so work it. Good Luck!

I hope you don't have bed bugs. They are a serious problem on the rise. If you want to check for fleas in your home, take a white paper towel and put it on the floor. You should see little tiny black fleas jumping on it. There are flea treatments you can get from you Vet for your cats that keep them from bringing them in. If you see some jump on the paper towel, you will also need to treat your home for fleas.

like all the previous posters reported, for the single flea you spot there are a number of greater which you do no longer see. Your close by puppy shop has a myriad of flea remedies and preventive strategies. additionally be arranged to deal with your canines for tapeworms, because of the fact the eggs are often transmitted by using fleas and their larva whilst your canines ingests them. A fleas lifespan is relativly short, it incredibly is the egg and larva cycle you will would desire to wrestle.
