Depends on how long you guys have been dating... If yall just started dating (less than 1 mo), hang in there! She will warm up. If you guys hae been dating for longer, maybe she is just shy and thats her nature. You might have to wait longer for her to be comfortable around you.

If you've been together for a while and she's still nervous. She might have some self confidence issues... most girls do. Just give her hand a light squeeze every now and then and smile. That's all it takes for me to get over some self confidence issues and just forget the world for a while. And then wrap her in a hug. A guys arms is the safest place to hide.

You have to gauge what to do by how she reacts. That might not work if she's shrinking away from your touch. So maybe just give her a smile. And talk to her. Talk about something that will make her smile. Share a secret or play a game of cards or 'staring contest'. Just simple ways to make her feel comfortable, until you can hold her hand or even play with her hair.

A girl might protest to some tickling, but really we like the attention more than we mind the tickling. At least that's how I feel. (unless she's really really bother by it then don't and find out what's wrong... something might be going on and it's your job to find out and make it better)

Maybe she isn't uncomfortable at all. You should be able to ask her what the problem is and ask her how to fix it. Talk to her!

Good luck!

Just be yourself, and when she is nerveous try talking to her or tell her a real funny joke. Laughter is the best medicine.
