Hindu or not, all humans are endowed with sex organs and sex is a natural part of life. I doubt your contention that a majority of Hindus know that sexual pleasure is important and that it does not bring permanent happiness. There are perhaps a lot more religious teachers in India compared to other countries, but do they all say that sexual pleasure is something to be avoided?
Beside sexual pleasure, there are several things in life that bring happiness, such as eating, wearing good clothes, friendship, social service, etc. How many of these would you classify as 'important' and bringing 'permanent happiness'? The perception of pleasure is highly subjective and varies widely. One mans food could be another's poison.
So, let us not generalise on what permanent happiness could be to a certain religious group. Find your own level of happiness that causes no or minimal pain to others, and then you would be OK.

pepole have five sesing organs all are capable of getting pleassure. Individually they make limited pleassure but collectively they can produce more pleassure. People like eating sugar for taste it is good but what happens it it becomes over. Same thing is true to sex also. That is why it is always advisable to limit it to one person. In sexual intercourse all the organs are working collectively that is why people feel pleassure. Each and every person is doing everything for pleassure. this is the only relegion in the world. But if they get pleassure is a matter to be reconsidered. One will get the immense pleassure only if he is withdrawn from all these sensing organs. This what drug adicts are trying to do forcefull they are cutting there five doors to the world and getting pleassure. The target is correct but the method is wrong

God created "sexual pleasure" as a gift to humans for "married Only" !! BUT you will always have people abuse what God gave us, it has been since mankind . If we did not have sexual pleasure the world would not be populated the way it is also. For every thing God gave us that is REAL and Honest and beautiful the Devil has a counter fit..That is illicit sexual pleasures outside of marriage. Yes it feels sooo good like you say but for the married only . He says that "marriage is good and the BED is undefiled " (clean). It is not that God does not want us to not enjoy ourselves there is repercussions that come with just having SEX outside marriage. HE (GOD) has a order for everything including sex.

You just answer your question in the question. It is because it gives pleasure. We seek pleasures even thought it is only temporary. And that is why I am seeking it every night or a couple times a day.

Sex as a physical act does bring short term pleasure. However, sex as a spiritual act with a physical manifestation, is far greater so much so that even holding hands or looking at each other can have greater joy than any sexual act can bring.

Well, as a Hindu you know, it belongs to a lower plane.

It is a seeking, for one person to find the other person, the other half of himself, and become one.

They do not see that they have this oneness already, there is no need to seek.

But if not for the lower plane, no one would still come to this earth.

Because we are made that way. It is alright to enjoy something even though it does not bring permanent happiness. Do you enjoy chocolate? Or some other food?
On a higher level., do you enjoy your family? Even that isn't permanent. The only permanent is God.

You need to study tantra because your generalization is mistaken.

For the most part you are right, but tantra shows you a way toward enlightenment through pleasure.

Some people like the little death a lot more often........because they can and can't help themselves. As long as it's good clean fun and doesn't hurt much.Don't you just hate it when you get a cramp? It's not good to overclean your pipes though.

That question is silly. God made sex for us to ENJOY it within the committed relationship of marriage. Why can't married Hindus enjoy it too?
