please don't give me any answers unless you actually might know, and I'm not asking for opinions. I'll specify, it's the state of NY and there is a prior conviction 15 years ago. Maybe somebody knows if there is a way I can find out. Please no opinions, serious answers. and thanks to the guy from CA.

This depends on numerous factors:
1) How much was stolen?
2) Was anyone hurt, or killed during the robbery?
3) Extenuating circumstances?
4) The demeanor of the judge who will sentence you.
The list goes on.

It depends on the state in which the robbery is committed. I think it depends on the weapon too in some states. I knew a person who robbed a gas station using a screwdriver ( he brandished it as a weapon) and went to jail for armed robbery.

In a perfect world 25 years with no parole.

But in today's world 2-6 years, but with good behavior, therapy, and parole...about 2 weeks.

The length of sentence varies according to your state and your criminal history. I hear jail is nice this time of year.
