First of all, I wanted to know the opinions that would answer this question.
Second, Christ has "all authority" in the church, His church.
Third, my point was, if man had "all authority" in the church. Man has added a lot of doctrine that isn't even mentioned in the Holy Bible.
Anybody that wants to read about the Lord's church, can read about it in the Bible.

Matthew 16:18 - And I say also that thou art Peter, and upon this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Matthew 28:18 - ALL power (authority) is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.
Acts 2:47 - Praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Ephesians 1:21-23 - Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.
There is your answer. NO MAN is the head of Christ's church, no man owns Christ's church, no man started Christ's church, no man can call Christ's church his body, no man has died for Christ's church, no man has shed blood for Christ's church.

Jesus Christ Himself.
His Church, His authority.
Hence, one of the main complaints by Martin Luther during the Reformation.
The Popes of Rome had commandeered the church from Jesus.

Christ has all authority, but he appoints men to act in his name and carry out his work, and even gives them power via the Aaronic and Melchizedek Priesthoods. He set up his church to be led by prophets and apostles who receive revelation. Popes and cardinals are not mentioned as part of his church, nor is celibacy - Christ taught of marriage and families and would want his leaders to live his teachings and not go against them.
If you want to find Christ's authority on earth, look for a church with a prophet and 12 apostles, revelation, and priesthood that was received directly from those who had it anciently.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body.

Jesus Christ founded the New Testament Church which can be traced through the Western (Catholic) & Eastern (Othrodox) Churches. They keys to the Kingdom were given to Peter, and Jesus said that "the gates of hell will not prevail" against His Church. Christ holds all authority of His Church, but intrusted her to His apostles who have passed it down to other bishops (overseer) via apostolic succession.
