Are we approaching a period where there will be no difference between men and women except for genitals and beasts?

I mean men are becoming more sensitive (especially those raised by single women), lasering body hair, getting hair transplants, getting botox etc.. Educated men are also more into raising kids than ecucated women in many cases (or at least equally as interested).

Most women are becoming more athletic (female athletic sporting records are regularly broken), more career oriented, less inclined to cook, more aggressive, more demanding etc...

I understand equality of sexes, but are we approaching a time when there will be just one sex for all intents and purposes?

Genitals and beasts? Check your spelling next time.

Yes, things are definitely changing, but for the better. Fifty years ago, it was inconceivable for any of this to be happening. Now we can have it both ways. I would never, ever want to be a housewife-mom. I'd much rather be a career woman, and a single one at that.

No. There's a political attempt to make us the same by some misguided feminists that want men and women to have exactly the same role in every station possible. These people are misguided because they associate different with unequal.
The problem is this just plain goes against nature. Just look at the way men and women approach friendship and relationships. It's obvious we're different. Sure, some women like sports, but how many young women will actually get into a fistfight over which team won?
Plus there are some physical considerations that simply change your outlook. If you're the one carrying a baby, your approach to sex is going to be different, no matter what. Scientific tests have shown that for some reason, men are better at identifying pleasant smells, while women are more sensitive to unpleasant odors.
So no. No matter how much pressure groups try to make us the same, we're simply not. And isn't that a good thing. Vive la différence!

oh man, this is funny... I made the same theory and got papers thrown at by a masculine chick!!! lol.. I said basically everything you said... In a way, I feel that Universally... men are attracted to women through their vulnerability, insecureness, emotional, sensitive, and child-bearing duties.... I mean, that is why they need men right?? to complete them in a particular way... now, girls at my University work out like crazy, jog like rabbits, and lift weight to tone their muscle... c mon, is that attractive?? imagine a woman replica of male... just one day, suddenly they dont give sh*t about relationships, talk dirty, be messy, take steroids, and dress thuggish.. I totally agree with women stepping into the male domain... I can't say for the "male part being sensitive"... lol Anyway, Great thought... I share the same ideas.. girls get mad when I point out " i like stupid, home caring, sensitive, crybaby, and emotional chick" ..lol ... just hope you wear helmets saying these stuff..

Try moving to another country and ask this question there. I think this might also be a personal conflict waiting for you to resolve it. It is as you see it and thatd the one real truth. Ask a battered woman or, maybe even better ask a battered man. To many answers for such a simple question.

No, I don't think we're approaching one sex...but personally i think the changes have been for the positive...no more days of neanderthal men and subservient "barefoot and pregnant" women...or at least a LOT fewer days...

No I don't. Sure there are changes in society, but I don't consider myself manly at all. I am pursuing a degree but only for financial security. I don't work out either.
