http://www.ivansmith.com/pag_product_id_354_p_1770-brown-michelle.html it looks better in person and i have the sleigh bed not that tiny little bed. anyways i painted my walls lilac because thats the color i wanted them to be. i'm afraid my furniture won't look good in my room though.. it's still wrapped up and such so it won't get dirty/damaged (we're remodeling our entire house) and won't be in my room for a few weeks maybe. i thought my furniture was darker but i havent seen it in so long i honestly cant remember how dark it is. so um click the link and lemme know if you guys think it'll be ok?

Your lilac will look great in the room with that furniture. Keep in mind that for complete color harmony, you need 3 colors. The first, the dominant colors (your walls) the second an accent color (like the trim, molding, etc) and the 3rd, an accent color, usually found in the accessories like curtains, cushions, comforters, etc. Lilac is a mixture of red and blue. You might want to keep one of those two colors for the accent color and go a natural color for the trim. What's all the rage right now is dark trim (chocolate, tobacco, charcoal). You can also choose to use a metallic color (like the metal hardware on a bedroom set) as the natural color. Keep in mind that silver, gold, pewter, and platinum are really considered neutrals yet make such a bold statement of richness that it could be great with what you've chosen and would add that touch of class that will look great with the set. Keep in mind one thing: If you don't like the paint color, it's relatively easy and inexpensive to change the paint color... Whatever you do, create a haven for yourself and ENJOY!

I hope you have a large room as sleigh beds take up more room than a standard bed. Lilac will look great depending on your accessories. You could lean towards a blue or red or a green as a accent color. If you want it to look darker pick a darker accent color this will help.

For sure! I am about to paint my bedroom walls chocolate brown and blue! Brown and blue is really in now! I am also buying a chocolate brown couch and using blue throw pillows...they go together perfect!
