I ripped my fingernail a little bit, and the corner came off the skin. Will it re-attatch as the fingernil grows? How fast does a fingernail grow?

The ripped part won't reattach, but the new growth should. Fingernails grow about an inch a year.

Fingernails don't reattach but they do grow out. Trim off the torn corner. The rate of growth varies from one person to another and I don't know how fast your nails grow but the average is about 3mm a month, 6 months to completely regrow from root to free edge.

no, certainly not. fingernails r a skin derivative and any body part once removed from the body dies very quickly, if not supplied with the conditions that the body provides (immediately and artificially). it can take a maximum of a week to grow.

Fingernails are protein like hair, and dead. No it won't reattach. You will have to wait til it grows out.

it won't reattach but will grow back, most likely within a week or so depending on how far into the nailbed the tear is.
