Of course, suicide is when a person kills themselves. Contrary to what some people think, people are not "selfish" when they commit suicide. They are very depressed, they feel severe emotional pain, and see no way out.

The emotional pain, thoughts of hopelessness, and suicide are caused by levels of certain chemicals in the brain being too low. That's why when a person is put on an antidepressant medication that restores the proper level of that chemical, the emotional pain is gone, the person no longer feels hopeless and no longer has thoughts of suicide.

In the 22 years that I used to work as a RN on psychiatric units, I personally have seen the response I described in at least 1000 patients! That is why a person who wants to commit suicide must be prevented from doing that. They don't really want to, there is a problem with the chemicals in their brain that can be corrected.

I particularly understand the sensation.. Anyone asking is thinking - please know that suicide is when someone really believes there is not other way. Someone who is THINKING knows better. There is always another way. In one second you can have hundreds of hearts there to help and love you and show you a better way. Suicide hurts so many many people. That hurt never goes away. If you are needing a way please ASK anyone. If there is not a hot line for you to call, call the nearest counseling service or even a clergy. Generally the best answer can be MOM or DAD but if not please ask someone. They would much rather answer now than try to answer the questions when it is too late.

Normaly suicide happens when a person is so depressed and many other things. and when you comit suicide you kill yourself. If someones heading in that direction you need to get then help even if they will be mad.
