My ex and I have been apart for close to 2 months and I have been trying to get back together with her. We broke up because I kissed someone else while we were broke up at an earlier time. During the relationship I did all of these things for her and put myself on the back burner. I took an extra job and more responsibilites in my senior year of college to make things easier for her. I spent most of the money i earned on her, and tried to take her out to eat as often as possible and buy her things. There were times I would come in from work after being on my feet for six straight hours or longer and give her a back of foot rub because she asked. Now she tells me after being apart for almost two months that it isn't worth it, and doesn't want to get back together. I know her ex before me treated her badly, but she stuck with him for a while? Did I go wrong? Should I have not been so willing to give of myself? If I ignore her, might she come back?

She's acting like a spoiled princess. Find someone who will love you back...and maybe even rub your feet after a long hard day. Men need TLC, too and shouldn't have to bend over backwards all the time to please. Good relationships are supposed to be reciprocal.

From my personal experience...no...i think that in relationships there should be an equal amount of everything...no it's not always equal but we both aren't taking and taking...we give and take and therefore appreciate each more...so it's not like I bought more stuff so you don't love me as much that seems retarded but it happens...girls like guys doing things for them, but not all the time...i like my boyfriend to have time to do stuff with other people...spend money on others ect.

Her ex didn't treat her badly, she wanted to villify him and make you feel like you can certainly do better. He probably bent over backwards for her too. She feels bad for both of you that you each don't have enough self esteem to demand anything from her.

Women love demanding men, we were built by God to serve a strong man. If your not strong, then you won't get served.

if you ignore her she might come back.... but to be serious, she is not worth it, you deserve better, i would be so grayefull if a guy treate dme this way and did so many sacrefises. I think that you should move on and im sure that you will find somebody amazing that you will love just as much maybe even more. :)

Pal ,,,, when you piss them off ,,,,, I mean really piss them off you could buy them the world and it won't make any difference ,,,, Might as well consider finding some one else ,,,,,, if she's got a negative thing for you then there's nothing you can to do remedy it ,,,,, Chalk it up to experienced and a lesson learned for the future ,,,,,

I'll tell you a secret: NO women like men who shower them with love and bend over backwards for them.
Or rather, no women are really attracted to that.
Not a one.
I heard this one quote that I like, it sticks with me, because so far, it's been true:
"The woman puts first who the man puts first."
Hope that helps.

I absolutely detest it when people focus on their partners more than they focus on themselves. I don't want love, and I don't need help from a man. I'd rather have my independence than any guy. You should have treated your girlfriend like an equal, instead of like some sort of deity. More importantly, she should have learned to take responsibility for herself.

You've got it backwards. She's the one who's not worth your time. Cut your losses and move on.
