why did we not invade his country and liberate his people because he was a torturing and killing people just like saddam?

WHAT! we put him in power ? i thought we was such a nice nation what are we doing supporting dictators? aint we fighting all these wars for demacracy?

Because he was backed by Henry Kissinger and the US Administration.

Don't forget, America also backed Saddam, the Nicaraguan contras, the Khmer Rouge, the Taliban, the Gladio terrorist network, the IRA, etc. etc.

All were mass murderers and evil. All armed and financed by the good old USA.

The American CIA supported Pinochet who conducted a coup only 3 weeks after being made a General.the then president commited suicide.Pinochets aim was to rid the country of the Communists,so in a way he was a martyr.Supporters of the Communist regime were killed quite wrongly so.Pinochet and Chile were the only South American support Britain had in the 1982 conflict in the Falklands.

Why has Bush gotten away with all his crimes and lies. Let's bring back the draft and see if people like you will still want to go to war over any little thing. I have killed in wars and I have seen my buddies die in my arms - it is not a pretty sight so quit trying to glorify war.

He was a rich anti-communist. American corporate interests believed it to their advantage that he stay in power. When it comes to U.S. foreign policy, economic interests ALWAYS trumps human life, ALWAYS!!!
