I haven't seen it yet but I would love for a guy to ask me to go out and see a chick flick like "The Holiday"
or if you know she hates chick flicks then go and see an action movie.. actually I'd get to know the girl first before you two go off and see a movie so you both know what kinda movies you're into.
I went on a double blind date once and we saw a super lame movie and I never talked to the guy again.

the holiday or happy feet. both are really good but depends on your mood and what you both want to see. either a chick flick or a cute funny movie about penguins.

My wife and I saw the new Cameron Diaz one, Holiday Vacation? I think. I do not remember the name, but the movie WAS GREAT!
