why does he flirt wit me....tell me that i am the only he could really talk to....gives me hugs......always sits next to me in all our classes......tickle me......wants me to call him...asks why i didnt call him.....i know he likes me because he has told me and i have told him that i like him....but why wont he ask me out already.....we have been this way for about five months now.....

He probably... is not sure how to ask... is nervous... doesn't want to move to fast... is worried about changing the relationship... losing what you have if going out doesn't work out. Maybe you could... ask him out... tell him "Hey, we both like each other, why don't you ask me out already?"... If that doesn't work, he may not have intended on asking you out. Maybe he just want's to be in-school boyfriend/girlfriend with you.

Obviously the guy likes you and if you don't help him there is a good chance that you'll lose him.
I was a rough kid and would tease and flirt and tickle and heckle but ended up with no one. No one! I was putting up a front, I was the class clown, the college crush but how do I close a deal? I have been seduced,locked and molested but then didn't know how to react.
Some boys, like I was, needs some help from you girls. we are scared of rejection so assure me that you won't reject me. I am shy so sometimes you have to make the first move. I may totally fall in love with you but I pee in my pants coz I dont know how to do it so BALL IS IN YOUR COURT!
Nowadays it is not bad for a girl to make a move just don't make yourself look so cheap and aggressive. Make the move coz you like him,not that you like the whole football team.

He is shy. You need to make the move when he asks why didn't you call me. Give him your number and say "when you want to go out call me. I'll put the ball in your court." Then laugh.
That will tell him that you are interested and that he needs to make the first move - not just flirt.

It sounds like he doesn't know how to ask you or maybe he feels like he's asked you enough.
Try bringing up the topic without saying "hey! define the stupid relationship!" because guys freak out when girls do that.
If you think you've shown him enough that you like him sufficently then I don't know what's holding him back other than he's just nervous.

You know, I'm going through the same thing. I think he's just being a normal guy and wanting you to ask him. don't ask me why. boys are just sooooo weird like that. i have many guy freinds. trust me.

maybe he hasnt asked you out yet cause he's afraid of rejection..maybe if you show him that you like him as well,then perhaps he'll get a move on.
