I have a digital camera. its a vivitar vivicam3985. ive had it for about a year, and i love it... but for some strange reason when i plug it into the usb.... it's not reading it? usually it switches to like the "loading" screen when i power it on, but now it just stays on the camera screen. can anyone help me or tell me what the problem could be? i would really apprecieate it since i don't want to buy a whole new camera. thanks!

I had the same problem w/ my vivitar camera,it plugged in fine for about a good year and a half, and then one day just decided it didn't wanna work anymore, you could either buy a new cord or there's a spot for your memory card on you computer tower, put the card in there and upload them that way,the only thing is they don't delete from the memory card you have to delete them all from your camera when your done!

Well i have 4 cameras and never use the USB connection. It is so much faster to use a card reader. Also I have never had any problems deleting them from the card an my pc. They are just flash memory cards with jpeg files on them. You should b able to right click and delete. My cams are all different makes and I do this with them all.
