I'm 14 and I drank vodka and mountain dew....... is that bad........ and is that illegal?????????

yeah it's illegal, if you're in the u.s.! the legal drinking age in the u.s. is 21, and even in europe most places it's 16 or 18.
trust me, drinking (especially underage) isn't worth it, and it's really bad if you get caught. i recently got caught drinking and driving (not my smartest move, i know), plus i'm underage, and trust me, having to tell my parents that i got a DUI was one of the hardest things i've ever had to do. not to mention the thousands of dollars we spent paying for a lawyer and paying the state legislation. and now that's going to be on my record for the next 7 years and i will probably have a hard time getting car insurance and jobs.
so my advice is to just wait...you're young, go out and do all the things 14 year olds should be doing...you'll get your chance to drink and be thankful that you waited instead of risking getting caught :)

Yes there is a taste difference, but there are limits to how much better it gets for the money. SOME of the price difference has to do with distillation.The cleaner, smaller, and more exact the center cut of a distillation (the heart) the better the vodka and the less of a hangover).Other factors are the material( types of grain,fruit, whatever) and marketing. As a rule under $10 is a bit risky, over $30 and you are usually paying for the name not the quality ( there are exceptions but Grey Goose is not among them).There are damn few vodkas over $40 (yes they do exist) that are that much better some $20 ones. Invest some money in some miniatures of various brands and try them against each other at room temperature- that is where vodka shows its faults the most - if you chill it it hides a lot. Decide which one you like best.If you like it at room temperature you'll love it cold!

Vodka and mountain tastes pretty good, however drinking at the age of 14 is illegal and whoever or however you obtained the alcohol could be in trouble for serving alcohol to a minor. be careful.

Ya honey, as someone who got busted 3 times for alcohol related offenses before she turned 21, let me tell you to wait. I started drinking when I was 16 and I got my first MIP when I was 17 because I was not being smart about it. So just wait until college, then make sure you and your friends are getting around the rules right. It's illegal, and your body probably doesn't appreciate it, so lay off for awhile :)

Think about what you asked? How old is the drinking age? In the U.S.A. it is 21 all over. So yes, it is against the law to drink alcohol if you are under 21. So you should not be drinking. Statistics say that the younger you are when you start drinking, raise the chances of becoming an alcoholic. Please wait to drink, I know it is coll and all that but it is illegal and dangerous. I hope that you will heed my warning. Someone who knows.

Yeah its bad, don't waste your youth being a drunkin idiot! There is plenty of time for you to be boozing it up. Do something constructive with your life. 21 comes way too fast......and yes it is illegal. But once you hit 21 and you want to drink go for it! At least then you are wise enough to make good decisions.

Definitely illegal. Pretty bad too because alcohol can mess up your brain development.
Just don't do it too often and don't get caught or drive.
That's about the first time I got drunk. Ive been drinking heavily since I was 16 and i is a kooledge stoodent

no, its not bad at all. i think we should be able to drink if we want, smoke if we want, do whatever we want. why should the gov't be involved in that, if it is bad for us, God wouldn't have put it on Earth. If you truly feel that it is your right as a human being to drink, then go ahead. Enjoy your childhood by doing dumb things, because you won't be able to do them later on and you would have missed out on a lot of things.
