In order to use online classes you must log into the class through the WebCT server at Fullerton College. Students have a default user ID and password. Once you have logged into the WebCT server you should change your password.

Logging into the WebSite

Using a Browser, go to http://webct.fullcoll.edu
Wait a few seconds until you see the Log on to WebCT link.
Click the Log on to link. You will see a logon dialog box.
For the User ID use the first two letters of your first name, the first two letters of your last name, and the last four digits of your student ID number. The letters should be in upper case.
For example, for a student named Edward Smith with the ID number @00561234 the user ID will be:

EDSM1234

The default password is STUDENT in uppercase letters.
After entering your user ID and default password you will see the WebCT screen with your classes listed along the left side of the screen.
To open your class, click the class name link..☺

Fullerton College Online Classes

Well, in my experience, online classes vary greatly. If it is a math or science class, I would not recommend them. I think its best to have an actual teacher there to help you. Classes that are mainly reading (history, English, criminal justice, etc), have been much easier at my school. (Park University, I think the biggest provider of online classes in the country, although I go to the actual campus) It just really depends on you actually. Online classes are great for people who don't have time to go to traditional classes because of work or other limitations. One warning though: it is easy to get behind for an online class since you login in whenever you feel like it. It makes it very easy to procrastinate and you have to make sure you login enough. I got graded on the amount of logins I made per week. Also, most online course require you to read a lot and make several responses to the reading and other classmates. My advice: try just one online course and decide from there.
