Well, dreaming about praying to God is a good thing. Praying to God in actuality is even better :) Prayer is communicating with God -- plain and simple. Talk to Him as if he is someone you are having a conversation. I would try and take note of what you dream of tho. If there is a specific thing you are praying for in your dream, perhaps God wants you to pray that in reality. Prayer is God's legal access into the lives of men on this earth. He does it through folks like you and I. I wish you much success on your journey towards getting to know Him.

If you believe that God is reaching out to you, then the best thing that you can do, is to get on your knees and talk to Him. If you have never asked Jesus Christ to forgive your sins, and come into your heart by faith, then that is the place to start. All that you must do is to ask Jesus to forgive you, and then it will be done. And then ask God to give you direction through his Holy Spirit as to what to do next. God will never leave you nor forsake you. (Heb. 13:5) And He will never fail to give you the direction that you need. My advise for the next step to take, would be to find you a local church which teaches the Word of God in it's entirety, and become a member. And God will continue to guide you and direct you, as you grow in Christ Jesus. A great place in the Word of God to start reading would be in the book of St. John. Talk to God. Let Him know that you are His servant and will do His will. There is a reason you are having this dream. Your soul is hungry for a relationship with its creator. Open up, let God in, you will be amazed at what can happen if you do!

Remember what christ taught Seek and you will find, Knock and the door will open. And when you do your research, and please do it trust hardly any person to lead you on this path that you choose. Now there is much hypocrosy within many religions, please think engage your mind when reading the words of christ. Go to a good church, Assembly of God, Non Denominational, Pentecostal Holiness etc. and give your heart to Jesus. Its a decision that you will never forget.

John 3:16. get saved. its better then a friend of mine who had dreams about going into hell and burning before he got saved.
