1) Respect: Be respectful towards each other no matter how different that person may be, or how comfortable you are around that person due to the fact that you both have many similarities.
2) Comfort: Moving towards comfort is a must, or else it'll be hard for two people to have fun or be able to free up and do anything. This is number 2 because two people have to gradually become comfortable, and it doesn't happen instantly at most cases, unless if they were people who do not "think" before they act.
3) Appeal: Two people have to find each other appealing in the first place. This mostly is geared towards physical attraction and not so much of a mental thing. This is important even before the date. Therefore, dress nice and always smile.

The top three should probably be: Do not discuss past relationships, do not bring up the marriage word, do not discuss money in terms of finding out how much the person has or is worth.
