we met on a dating site and he is an engineer who goes around the world working on the ships who are drilling for oil in the oceans . we have been talking since thanksgiving. he says he wants a life partner and we started talking he says he gave me his heart, and when his job is through he will get a ticket and come here , he is from london england. but after his job is thru he say he gets mugged on the way to buy his ticket. he was on the coast of africa . anyway he is getting friends to send him money to get home with.

it's the holidays and you may be lonely and overwhelmed by his sweet talk but if u gotta ask that question then you already know ur answer. i would not trust him, wait after new years but do not invest emotionally in him yet. he's gotta have money if he travels so much i doubt he living off min wage

Be careful. I think that it's very easy to form emotional attachments to people over the Internet, but, to fall in love you'd have to be around this person regularly, see him in favorable and unfavorable situations, see how he interacts with others, how he treats you when no one is around. Just don't send him any money for his ticket home, I think I saw something similar on Dr. Phil.

Sweet Jasmine you are a fool, doesn't sound like he's being truthful. Do not give him any money, if his story is truthful, sorry and hope he didn't get hurt. My gut is telling me that you two are rushing into it anyways and he is not what he says he is, he's probably a married guy hiding in the office of his and his wife's house

you can fall in love ..just because u dont know him! U create a person in your mind..if u meet him many things wont be compatible to your dreams! I have dated some people from the net and i know! even the tone on his voice could change the whole thing....girl..i hope he is the one..but be careful
