Is it a good idea to workout while you have a cold? Will this help me get rid of the cold faster? I am not running, because that will beat the **** out of me, however, I am doing cardio and weights.

It all depends how you are feeling. If you are feeling up to it, do it. I just don't have the energy when I'm sick.

....you're not doing any running but you're doing cardio?

There's a good reason why people tell us to rest if we have a cold. Working out may prolong the cold. You need all your energy going to getting yourself better..

I would suggest getting rest and drinking water. Exercising will not get rid of the cold faster.........
