How bitter would you be if those were the last words you heard before you were cast into a firey inferno for all eternity for not believing?

Well, I've certainly got books.... hundreds of them. But you're speaking specifically about a collection of books, aren't you.
I'll go out on a limb, and assume (dangerous, I'm sure) that you're a Christian, and talking about the Bible.

I sent you books....
So which ones?
In which title did you enumerate which, exactly, should be read by all? Do you enumerate them anywhere?

Ah.... Did I not send you infallible men to choose them?

Then why are there so many different collections? Which set of men who chose was correct?

The Protestants claim to have the correct selection, but there are quotations in the Bible from books outside the Bible. Should these too have been read? If not, why not?

Some of the references are satisfied in the Apocrypha. But these are not accepted by Protestants.

Then, Jesus said to "Search the scriptures." Which books are scripture. Which definition of scripture was used? Any sacred writing? Any sacred authorative writing? Any writing?

And then, one might wonder as to the sacred writing of whom? What proof is there that God spoke only in Judea? What about other writing that corroborates Christian writing, at least in part?

I'm certainly glad that there will be no God sitting in some heaven with gates to either there or hell. I'm wondering how many fundamentalists would be there stamping their feet if they saw that the non-christians weren't going to Hell.

I think if I were cast into a firey inferno I'd be pretty bitter no matter WHAT last words I heard.

Thank Goddess that's just a scary story the clergy uses to keep people in control and get them to tithe!

Oh boy, I am really frightened now.

Maybe that is what you will hear from Zeus or Ra. How did you make you decision? The evidence is the same.

What if the last words you heard were Allah asking why you ignored his prophet?

Or Zeus asking why you stopped believing in him?

Or Isis asking if you thought all those hieroglyphs were meant to be just *pictures*?

Or Zoroaster...?

Or Odin...?
