Believe it or not, I know exactly what you are talking about.
It is really hard to explain, sorry, but in short, here is an example: When I heal somebody, I feel like I am a different person that is helping and healing somebody.

YEAH, had a "magic" brownie and had the out of body experience for over 2 days! I hated it. It's like every time I talked, my voice was coming from a different direction. And when I moved, I felt like I was floating. It's like I was having a conversation with my friend, but I really wasn't there. Yet oddly enough, the next day I could remember bits and pieces of the conversation I had.

at 19 I was seriously in love w/ a girl that I thought I was gonna marry. Due to work I had to move 100 miles away. One night I was stoned and listening to classical music. I imagined floating out of my apt and following the road to her house. Flew fast and about 40 feet above it but pictured it all. Then reached her house, went thru the door to her room and sat on her bed. Then shook her and woke her up.

I then awoke back in my apt. to the phone ringing to hear her waking up asking what I wanted.

Not believing it happened, I tried it a few more times without telling her and each time it worked. I then told her what I was doing and we tested it in many different ways and having her sleep on couch instead of bed, etc. To see if I could sense her there instead. It all worked. We did this least 16 times.

I have tried to do it with others since then but no luck. Not sure if I was just young and open minded enough to do it or if we had a special connection/love that allowed me to do it.

This along w/ the fact my grandfather woke me up the exact minute he died and I was over 200 miles away and he told me he was passing on.

All of this has made me believe there is a power or sense of being past this body and life that we see every day.

My indian people fully believe in spirts, leaving the body, etc.

what does "out of body" mean I think it means you go out of your body and yeah. Well no I have never had the experience but my friend did she got into a car accident and she felt like she was not in her body at all she saw things though and then some one gave her life and she started breathing it was creepy. Thats what she said.

Yes, I have had several..
I felt a sensation of lifting out of my physical body, the first time it happened I got scared and I quickly came back.
I sort of felt shocked, if that is the right word to use.
Now I am comfortable with them and I meditate and do it frequently...
It is a sensation of lightness, air, softness..
It is the sensation of being just a wisp of smoke..
I find it helps me to be able to deal with the pain I suffer from chronic terminal illness

Yes. I floated around the ceiling looking down upon all my friends. All of a sudden, they noticed something and started asking my body if I was okay. I tried to answer them, but could not since I was floating around and not in my body. It took me a few minutes and a little struggling to get back into my body to answer them. I did not like how long it took me to get back. I would never want to do that again.

I had one many years ago during a surgery. I could see myself and the anesthesiologist and doctor working on me.It was like I was watching everything from high above it. It did not last long, but I will never forget it.
