definitly Steven King...love Spielberg but love a great horror story....would rather sleep thinking of IT or Cujo....I grew up watching old horror stories late night....makes for a great tossing and turning.....love ET also but more mellow....Don't ya love a great thriller in the dark with a flash light......yep King....then you go to the Krispy Kreme in a cool car named Christine....and if you are lucky......you make it home....."I hear ya knockin'"

Very interesting question. I think that it would have to be Spielberg, though. Because almost any story that Steven King tells will keep you awake all night.

Steven King definately. My reason? Because as a kid I was terrified of old men (still am) and if Mr.King tried to hurt me or something I could just smack his glasses off and he wouldn't be able to see me to hurt me, hahaha.
