im 17 and latly have been geting these tics/twitches in my neck and eyes where either my neck will jerk or eyes will blink. I highly doubt that its tourette's because that is usually a condition that occurs earlyer in child hood and this has old been happening recently with a few cases in the past when i've had panic attacks. does anybody know or know any web sites to tell me why this is happening and if theres anything I can do about it(that are not bout tourettes but another cause). its starting to bother me, usually right before bed and today I had a couple little ones during class. thanx for anyone who helps.

could be a pinched nerve, and should clear up in a few days.
but if the problem persists, seek advice from a medical professional

It may not be nothing, but it could be epilepsy. There are many kinds of epilepsy, and some forms are exactly what you describe, like ticks, and twitches. I know, because I am epileptic, and when I don't get enough sleep, I get the symptoms you describe. The only way to know for sure is to see a doctor, and he will send you for an EEG. Don't get freaked out, it can easily controlled with medication.

I had this problem and I researched it on the net. The general response was that is was the result of being tired. It was not the symptom of something more sinister and was not related to stress. It was just that you need to get a good nights sleep. I had a good nights sleep and no more tick. Try it.. Don't take an asprin and call me in the morning..hehe.
