Could be your friends .. People who LOOK, or APEAR as your friends or somebody you can trust, when really they'll stab you in the back- Or an oppertunity in life that looks good- but when you follow through...it turns out to be worse than you thought...Thats why it's important to ask God about all aspects of your life .. he knows whats best, listen to him and you won;t be fooled by the "wolfs" of the world. Another point a Pastor of mine made.. Is in the church (flok of sheep) When you stay close, attend regularly and fellowship, than a bad influence ( wolf) will be so confuse it won;t be able to catch you in the crowd ( flok) But when you go off, away from the floc he can attack you! So stay close to the good infuencial people in your life. WOW I hope that made sence!

Since Jesus consistently referred to His people as His "sheep", the wolf in sheep's clothing is someone within the church who is preaching a false message, leading people away from the true gospel.

A great number of Ecumenical "Catholic" bishops and priests. To "the ancients" (Ac 20.17) of the church St. Paul left a warning: "Take heed to yourselves, and to the whole flock, wherein the Holy Ghost hath placed you BISHOPS, to RULE THE CHURCH OF GOD, which he hath purchased with his own blood. I know that... ravening wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock. And of your own selves shall arise men speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them" (Ac 20. 28.30).

"Ravening wolves will enter..." This began in the 1930's when the Communist leadership issued a world-wide directive in the 1930's to infiltrate the Catholic Church starting from the latter's seminaries and monasteries. The Communist directive was of course a top hidden agenda until made public by an ex-Communist and celebrated Catholic convert Douglas Hyde. In the early1950's, Mrs. Bella Dodd, a high-ranking official of the Communist Party of America and was Attorney General designate had the Party won the White House, explained, after her defection, in one of her lectures, that of all the world's religions, the Roman Catholic Church was the only one feared by the Communists, for it was only its effective opponent. Speaking as an ex-Communist, she said: "in the 1930's, we put eleven hundred men into the priesthood in order to destroy the Church from within ." "The idea," explains a monk who was present at one of the Dodd lectures, "was for these men to be ordained, and then climb the ladder of influence and authority as Monsignors and Bishops". Bella Dodd, who later converted to Catholicism, further related: "Right now [it was still in the 1950's then], they are in the highest places in the Church... they were working to bring about change in order that the Catholic Church would not be effective against Communism." "These changes," according to the monk, "would be so drastic that you will not recognize the Catholic Church. The whole idea was to destroy, not the institution of the Church , but rather the Faith of the people, and even use the institution of the Church, if possible, to destroy the Faith through the promotion of a pseudo-religion: something that resembled Catholicism but was not the real thing. Once the Faith was destroyed there would be a guilt complex introduced into the Church... to label the 'Church of the past' as being oppressive, authoritarian, full of prejudices, arrogant in claiming to be the sole possessor of truth, and responsible for the divisions of religious bodies throughout the centuries . This would be necessary in order to shame Church leaders into an 'opennes to the world', and to a more flexible attitude toward all religions and philosophies [hence, Ecumenism!]. The Communists would then exploit this opennes in order to undermine the Church."

"The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world would not have believed, that the adversary and the enemy should enter in by the gates of Jerusalem" (Lam 4.12). Just as Satan entered into Judas who was among the twelve Apostles and betrayed the Lord. "The kingdom of heaven is likened to a man that sowed good seeds in his field. But while men were asleep, his enemy came and oversowed cockle among the wheat" (Matt 13.24, 25). "And they placed there a sinful nation, wicked men, and they fortified themselves therein" (1 Mach 1.36).

"...From the prophet even to the priest, all deal deceitfully. And they healed the breach of the daughter of my people disgracefully, saying Peace, peace: when there was no peace" (Jer 8.8-11).

I think it the Religious leaders. Pastors etc. that pretend to be Christian, but, use their position to mislead and use people. It could also be any person that claim to be Christian. Example would be a person that go to Church and say they are a Christian, but, are actually looking for a mate, nothing wrong with wanting a mate, but, if it to just seduce someone no. Just because a person say they are a Christian, does not mean they are. That even happens here, someone pretend just to make trouble.

Oh, there are so many: Jerry Falwell, George W., Pat Robertson, Jim and Tammy Bakker ... the list is practically endless. I forget exactly who said it, but someone said when fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.

Hello , the wolf's in sheeps clothing is the devil. Eph. 6 tells us we must fight the devil. The devil is always trying to get you over to his side. As Christians we should always be on our guard concerning the devil. You fight spirits, not people. Read Eph.6. I hope this answers your question. Take Care.
