Cat... king cobra are poisonous unless you can tame them by playing music for them 24/7, you're lips would get busted and dried out.

If you're looking for a good mouser, go with the cat. While a King Cobra will "dispose" of the mouse nicely--unlike a cat who will present the bloody thing to you as a present--snakes do poop out all the bones and fur they can't digest (it's quite yucky!) Besides...the mice learn real quick to stay away from a house with a cat! Not so sure, the common house mouse knows anything about Cobras. I've never had a Cobra, but I've had a Burmese Python so I know what I'm talking about..."Monty" preferred rats anyway!

King cobra if it is for controlling rats and mice in the garden ,but there are less dangerous snakes that do just as well .like a mole snake for example
Cats are good for compost if you plant new trees .
alive they kill a lot of little animals, like lizards, iguanas, chameleons etc, that eat bothersome bugs ,like mosquitos and flies.
cats dont eat those

I'd say the feline since it's more friendlier than the snake.
