There are different meaning for being cheap. If cheap relates to money, I consider a person who invites you out for say dinner, they should pay for the whole meal or say before hand they want to split the cost. Another meaning for being cheap comes from a person who doesn't show consideration, politeness or tolerance to another person. Cheap is when you don't show or say kind words to your loved ones. Cheap is not saying thank you to your loved one "Thank you" when they take you to a restaurant and movie you know they didn't really like. Cheap is not saying thank you for a stranger's act of kindness. (Like holding a door open for you.)

I had a friend who would drive across town to save 5 cents a gallon on gas. He spent 30 minutes round trip to save 50 cents... that's cheap.

The one whose compulsion to not spend money gets in the way of his or her life. People who are frugal do not spend money on nonsense. People who are cheap will go through all kinds of nonsense in order to avoid spending money.

Cheap is not the same as frugal. Cheap is saving money at someone else's expense. Frugal is saving money at your own expense.

Someone who always try to get other people to pay for them; and doesn't ever plan to pay them back!

Those who tip less then 20% at a restaurant!

People who wear socks or underwear with holes in them...please throw them away!!!

Guys who always want to rent a movie for a date, then to take their girl out to a theater!

People who never offer to drive you somewhere, but always want to ride with you!
Just a few ideas from people that I've came across!

Someone who won't buy a girl a drink at dinner and says if she wants one, she will have to pay for it herself...or...one that insists on going dutch, I once had one guy pay for dinner, then tell me if I wanted to see him again, that it was my turn to pay...I don't mind picking up the check, but to have him say that....it was the first and LAST date! Cheapo!
