There is this guy at work who I have a huge crush on the only thing is that he is taken and is thinking of proposing to his girlfriend. He knows of my crush but he doesn't know that I am in love with him. He has told me that he seems me as a friend and nothing more, should I tell him that I am in love with him even though it won't benefit anyone?

The only person that would benefit from you telling him you love him is you. It is kind of selfish to put that on him when he has told you he is not interested and is going to propose to his girlfriend. If you want to stay friends with him you can't tell him you love him cuz he'll probably feel weird around you since he has made it clear he just wants to be friends.
I know it sucks cuz you can't help who you love but you will probably lose a friend if you tell him. Besides, you WILL find someone who feels the same way about you and you'll forget all about what's-his-name.

hell I don't see what you have to lose!
He already knows, to some extent, right!
And you probably won't feel better until you get it off your chest.
Your friends will think you're crazy, and half of these people answering your question will think you're crazy, but you and I know there's a certain feeling of completion when you can just get it off your chest.
So do it!
He'll probably say "Ew no!" or he'll say "Oh really! Well I told you..." But whatever -you- said, -you- did it!!! And you can give yourself a proud pat on your back 'cause you did something that was really hard for you to do. And now you will be able to focus your emotions on somebody who might return the favor. If you won't be quite ready for that yet, at least be proud that you got over your fear and told him the truth!!!!
Sometimes just gettin it out is the number one step to gettin over a crush, period!

yes yes 1 million times yes! Love is much to powerful and wild to be kept a secret. Go for it, and if he declines, then at least you wont go through life wondering what he would have said. But maybe he'll say yes. Never lose hope in love, and if it's true, then it will happen and everyone has a true love out there. Hope you find yours.

you can either take the leap and say something, or let what he said rest. if he was interested, he would nt have told you that. whatever, dont let it spoil your friendship. those are more valuable than anything, it s hard to find a good friend in the world these days.

Would say yes anyother way but the old adage prevails, do not dip your pen in the company ink well. NOT worth it unless your interested in looking for alternative employment.

tell him. he is "thinking" about proposing so get i there and see if you can get him to change his mind about you.
