follow directions. 10-12 cups of water in a coffee pot is 2 scoops or however you like it. weaker 1 and 1/2. stronger 2 1/2. every question is not crazy. that's how we all learn. if we knew it all we would not have to ask or answer. make sure to look at your coffee maker to see how many cups it holds and where the h2o line is. thanks

Most coffee pots have a limit on size. I use a 10 cup maker. Put in a filter. I put in about three heaping tablespoons of coffee per pot. If it is not strong enough, add a little more coffee next time. If it is too strong, take some coffee away.

Making really good coffee is not so much a science as it is an art. Good luck.

it depend on how much coffee you want to make, usually there is directions on the coffee can about how much to use, but usually for a whole pot (5 large cups) you would use 3 spoons of coffee grinds, but you would up that or lower it depending on how you like your coffe
