my hair is really thin/fine and if i just blow dry it, it gets frizzy. so then i try straightening the ends but then it gets flat by the end of the day.

I have the exact same problem, or I did...there is this stuff by Aveda called Pure Abundance Hair Potion. It's $22 and it's in a little bottle, but it really works and the bottle lasts a long time. When you put it in your hand it looks like white powder, but when you rub it together it becomes kind of damp and sticky. What you do is sprinkle a little bit of the powder on the top of your head and use your finger tips to massage your roots. They will instantly have volume and it will last all day. Also, instead of straightening the ends just use a cream like Bed Head Afterparty which is not greasy and will smooth the ends without making the rest of your hair fall flat. Also, there is a volumizing shampoo by Halo that really works! I used it once and my hair was huge. Hope this helps!

After flat ironing start sectioning your hair near your part and spray a light hair spary at the root then keep taking thin sections all the way to your ear and then start on the other side. No gently run your fingers throught the mid strand to the end, do not mess with the root area, you will break the hair spray bond.

Believe it, your diet does play a part in the quality of your hair. A healthy diet, drinking plenty of water, a good quality multivitamin are all things you can do that most people don't usually think of in relation to your hair but it works. The quickest fix is the cut of the hair. A shorter hair cut when layered correctly gives great volume. I also use a medium hold mouse to give it that extra little poof. All of these things have worked really well for me. Good Luck!

I have found Pantene Full and Thick Shampoo, Conditioner, and Styling Gel to be a non-expensive and fantastic solution for my thin hair. Hope it helps.

Well depending on the length of your hair, you could have layers put it. Usually with a little mousse, it will create nice volume.

A shorter haircut with layers will give you more volume. Try a cute bob. "Inverted Bobs" are really popular. These are cuts that are longer in the front and shorter in the back.
