I put gel or mousse in mine ihave those too they come from breakage. Try switching your shampoo and put your dryer on a cooler setting so your hair won't break as often and if dye it stop.

that usually means that you are pulling your hair back too tight and its all breaking.... try not to pull your hair back so tight.... as for the time being while the hair is growing out, try to hair spray it or put gell on it.
