Start now. The pup is of age now to get the set of shots. Mine got hers at 8 weeks. The vet will schedule a rabies shot also.

Once a dog is 12 weeks old, the first set of shots can be administered. After the first shots, 1month later, the 2nd set is administered and then a 3rd series a month after that.

You should go soon. Normally a breeder will get the first shots at eight weeks just before handing the puppy to the buyer. You should also get your puppy dewormed at the same time

first set of shots should be around 8 weeks..i would suggest that u get the puppy package.. i paid like 2 hundred something..and with that you get 1st, 2nd , 3rd and 4th set of shots. they give u a bag of puppy food, and then when they get their last set of shots they microchip ur pup..with this package your pup also gets dewormed twice, if it has worms..
so yeah your pup is ready to get his or her shots already...
