If your dog is acting strange or just doing things that are out of the ordinary for her/him , then something is wrong.

dogs are sick when they eat less, they look very weak and they do not come to attend you when you call them.. if ever just call a vet...

Usually nose is extremely wet...eyes have lots of eye boogers...how there stool is...cough....basically anything that isn't normal to your dog everyday!

He/She will act strangely. If it stops doing regular activities like fetch, running,etc. and becomes lazy it might be tired or sick.

nose isnt wet or is warm. the dog is quiet. it hasnt ate a lot. it has its tail under its legs(or is that when its scared)

When mine doesn't eat is a sure sign. Also if their noses are dry it means that they could be dehydrated.

If they are acting off, loosing patches of hair, seem feverish, not eating/drinking, and have bouts of vomiting/diarrhea.
