One of my co-workers (thomas) is really cute and is really nice to me but the problem is he's 7 years older than me. I'm 16 and he's 23... I really really like him to the point i wrote a song about him... It's not the i just like him... but i think i love him. What should i do and what can i do?
Plus about a month ago he told me he's moving back to *tacoma*. I'm not sure he likes me but i broke down when i found out he was moving... I went into depression mode... realizing i may not get a chance to tell him how i feel.

any advice?

*jess*

Honey, you are infatuated with an older man. Unless he has a mental problem, he's not going to be interested in a 16 year old girl either. And getting together could get him charged with statutory rape. No guy in his right mind wants that.

Keep your feelings to yourself. You will get over it after he's gone and likely find someone else to get a crush on. Hopefully it will be someone your own age.

Don't understand why you can't tell him before he moves. If he feels the same way and respects you then he will wait a couple of short years until you're legal age. If not then nothing has been lost and you'll find the man of your dreams a little further down the road.

Oh my goodness!!

I know exactly how you feel however I can't say anything if I wanted to!

He's moving to literally the other side of the world next summer!

If he really likes you then you'll know. Does he flirt? If its not awkward tell him that you like him. Its an annoying age difference and I feel your pain.

sorry jess its best to leave him as least for a few years --- you are too young (legally) to be seeing him --- he could get into a lot of trouble ---- best to not tell him and look for someone your age --- then when you are over 20 see if you want to find him

Before you understand each other better, it is better to treat each other as friend. Love has to come from two parties. It has to grow naturally overtime. Learn to build good friendship and let love grows along in your relationship between he and you.

Age doesnt matter unless its a 15 yr diff then thats to much. You should just tell him you have feelings for him. Otherwise he would never know...maybe theres a chance he'll stay.

Thats not a good situation. You are jail bait to him...I'm trying to be mean, but if you perused it, it could be bad for him. Try just being friends with him. good luck!
