I don't want to get jewelry or something that justs its in ehr room and looks pretty. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm at a loss.

A dream weekend...take her to have a spa morning, massage...nails, pedicure, hair. Then off to lunch in a fun place that you both like. Home for a nice nap and afternoon delight...and then have tickets to an awesome concert.....after the concert a late dinner, and dancing. Spend the night in a hotel, and spend the next day just relaxing and hot tubbing.

A romantic date or getaway somewhere. Think about her favorite things to do, and plan a weekend around it. If she likes relaxation, think couples spa. If she likes movies, take her for a weekend film festival. If she likes shopping, give her a spending limit, and tell her you'll buy anything she wants within that limit. Spend the day together, get lunch, and get ready to hold some bags. Personalize it to interests she has. Otherwise, after 4 years, a ring is always a good idea.
