Tight clothing will not harm your baby but it will soon start to cause problems for you. Your circulation is very important because your body is changing so much. Tight clothes can also give you heartburn which is often a problem during pregnancy for people who've never had it.

At this point in your pregnancy, if your pants are just a bit tight, you can put an elastic through the buttonhole and around the button to give yourself another inch so you can wear your favorite jeans a little bit longer. If you put a top over your jeans, no one but you will know. As long as you're comfortable and happy with how you feel, you're fine.

Congratulations :) and best wishes as your pregnancy progresses.
