I have applied in Illinois for Medicaid disability benefits but have been denied assistance. I have an appeal set.. What do they want. I have provided them with everything they requested. What can I provide that will turn the decision in my favor? Crutches? Wheel chair? A note from my doctors? What can I provide to make these people see that my lights don't work anymore? There must be something that will change their mind. I have racked my brains, whats left, out. Any tricks I need to learn? Any hints?

Documentation from your doctors or medical bills can help a good deal, but even then the SSA system is tricky.
A great majority of people are turned down the first time and sometimes thereafter. Your best bet is to find a lawyer specializing in disability lawsuits. You should have no trouble finding a lawyer who will take your case at no cost unless you win. And if you do win, the lawyer's fees are capped.
