Hello,
I'm a 25 year old male and I really need a shampoo for oily hair. I need something OTC from a local store. I have tried H&S, garnier and a couple of other ones. None of them seem to work. If I wash my hair everyday, I'm fine but I heard that washing your hair daily causes hair loss. I don't know how true that is.
Please help!!!!!

I prefer Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Oil. Paul Mitchell is really good, my hair used to be so knotty and oily and just too dry and crazy I couldn't even brush it. But the brand Paul Mitchell has good stuff. And yes, guys do use it.

I've looked tons for shampoo for oily hair and don't have a clue.
I've began using 2in1's b/c it seems to do a little better.
Do you use conditioner? If you do, buy something with Tea Tree in it. I got my at Regis in the mall. It seems to do better than anything so far. When you use it, just put it on the ends of your hair. Kinda like pulling your hair back into a ponytail, just condition the hair that would hang out. Of course, I'm assuming you have long hair. If not, don't use conditioner for a few days and see what happens.
Good luck!
Happy Holidays!

I use Herbal Essences for normaly to oily hair and that seems to work better for me than any other shampoos. But most people have to wash their hair everyday, so maybe you should just try that. It doesn't cause hair loss, but washing your hair a lot does make it get oily faster, so I wouldn't wash it more than once a day.

y from a store?? In almost any local salon you can get Paul Mitchell's tea tree shampoo-that's the best for your situation....and please don't get the fake-off the back of a truck, tampered with version that they sell for just as much in the grocery stores. Then it's not garunteed to work

You will not lose your hair washing it daily, just normal amounts that happen naturally. If your hair is really oily, try washing it in diluted Dawn dis washing liquid

ANY citrus based shampoo will work for you. VO5 has a great strawberry shamp & conditioner!

...no need to wash your hair everyday.
