There are several problems:
1. Someone was distrubed enough by the question to flag it
2. The flagging process protects the flagger but not the accused
3. The flagging process does not allow for counter-retaliation
4. Y!A has no review process for flagged questions
5. Y!A's default action in such cases is to dump the question

Action required - Y!A needs a game theorist on staff to get a better process.

Welcome to the illogical mental gymnastics of Yahoo Community Guidelines! Give yourself a pat on the back. You are no longer a virgin!

I had an answer deleted - one where the questioner gave me Best Answer to the question posed. Reason? It was incorrectly perceived as profanity. Problem was, the question was about profanity on this site. I'm still waiting for their reply. I guess "Yahoo" Answers is aptly named. Now. To answer your question.

I know a lot of gay men because I work in the entertainment business. I personally do not find them more polite than anyone else. They fit into the average when it comes to a lot of politeness down to zero politeness. No difference as far as I'm concerned in that department. But where I do find a difference is in general intelligence and a sense of humor. I love being around gay men and women because I find them generally smarter than average. They also have incredible wit, and a sense of irony and satire that can keep me laughing for hours.

Hope you get some satisfaction from the Yahoo Answers Team. I sure didn't!

I got one too. You can bash Christians all you want but even mention the word gay or homo and your zapped. I wonder if Yahoo personnel are like Disney personnel, meaning of a not so particular sexual persuasion. Or or they just afraid they might hack off certain emotional subscribers. I'm still fuming over my violation. Lord forgive me.

The only thing wrong with your question -- and hundreds of others -- is that *one* person did not like it and reported you.

That's all it takes, it doesn't have to make sense and it by golly *doesn't* make sense.

What I do is wait a little while then post it again. I have *never* had the second version of one of my questions pulled.

: )

Beats me. I'm gay. If that's all you asked, I wouldn't be offended.
