I've gotten into a bad habit of pulling out my eyelashes. Now, I don't have very many, and they've become thinner. How can I stop pulling them out so that they can grow nice and long?

More than likely your pulling them out because of stress-not just b/c it's a bad habit.

Try managing your stress in other ways like breathing excercises, meditating, or just get more excercise.

Everytime you catch yourself pulling out your eyelashes, stop and think what you will look like completely without eyelashes. I used to pull them too, and this helped. Also, try to find sometihng small and non-disruptive to play with in your hands instead of your eylashes.

I do it all the time. I find that just occupying your mind with other things will help distract you. If you really can't help yourself, just rub them. It's close to pulling them out, so maybe that may do the job and not having them come out.
