Show a lot of interest in what he does. I f he mentions something he is having a problem with give him a suggestion and then a few days ask him how things worked out. If something great happens to him let him know how happy you are that it did. When you talk to him try to touch him like his hand or something. Lik if he says "jay got a promotion" You say " I know isn't that great and touch his hand while saying it. OR If he says he got a promotion you say "Oh my Great job" and hug him while you say it, and while you are hugging him rub his back. Then he'll ask you out

I used to be the same way. The only way you can be clingy is if you are calling him everyday, hanging out with him everyday, or acting like you can't do anything without him (ex: not being able to run an errand without him being next to you). Believe it or not, you can show a guy you are interested in him by being straightforward and not playing games. If you have his number then call him to show him that you like him. Thats showing interest but let him do a few things for you like holding the door to make him feel like a man.

A smile always does the trick. They also notice the way you look at them. I remember when i was young i use to practice looking in the mirror. lol. But that way you can get him to notice and you dont even have to talk.
