I think it depends on the situation. Did you JUST ask her out and got rejected 4 times? OR did you pose 4 different dates and she wanted nothing to do with anything you were offering?

try something diff this time.. you need to know how to please her and you need to know what is her likes and dislikes.
dont court her this time, just be her friends and show how much you care for her and that you are always there when she need someone.
be patient and giving.
