well honestly,
I'm Black, and I don't like punk rock music or nothing like that, I like your regular R & B and hip-hop etc., yet I keep getting with these boys with all the earring, lip piercings, nipple piercings and crazy hair, and I'm just like hey whatever.

This last one, Mike, said he liked me 'cause he thought I was funny.
I mean hey, I'm open-minded, we have deep conversations, politics, what have you, and I will talk about various types of music.

Never worn a black shirt at a metal show. So if being nice and funny ain't it, I don't know what to tell you.

I am (well soon to be finished) at a university in Michigan, and the minority population is quite minor there, so that may add to why I hooked up with so many.

at the highschool and junior high where I am assistant teaching, there is a MUCH larger population of Black people students to teachers, so there's some nice hot subs there if I'm interested

for me it's just a matter of location. for others, it's not.
I'm sure you've already got the traits for what a punk guy is looking for, and if you don't, just look at Averill Lavigne and you won't get lost.
